ABOUT THE ROLE
Community Manager
Orlando & Winter Garden, FL
We are looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging brand content with the goal of creating deep roots for the RedFork brand within the target communities. This role requires a high level of creativity, self-motivation, and people skills.
Responsibilities
Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with internal marketing strategies
Provide engaging content that promotes a growing company presence via text, image and video for RedFork social media accounts, blog, and other strategically relevant online properties
Work with the internal Marketing team to create actionable strategies based on external feedback and online reviews
Coordinate with Marketing and Content teams to ensure brand consistency
Liaise with Marketing and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
Build relationships with Partners, potential Partners, industry professionals and journalists
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing technology trends
Attend industry events in and around Orlando (often outside standard business hours) for the purpose of boosting brand awareness.
Organize events, meetups and other value driven activities to build up community relationships
Create strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications
Measure success via Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
Qualifications
2 - 3 years proven work experience as a community influencer
Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, conducting successful fundraising events, and amassing an email list via voluntary signups)
Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. increase in inbound leads, higher awareness throughout the local community, etc.)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Experience producing content for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, Facebook, Instagram, Stories, YouTube etc.)
Ability to use word-processing and layout tools such as Adobe In-Design, Apple Pages, Microsoft Word, or similar technologies
Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
Experience in content based marketing and project management, including:
Inbound & Content Marketing strategies
Marketing Campaign creation and management
Development of content calendars for social media, blog posts, video, and email
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
BA/BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
Basic skills with Apple Macintosh OS
Bonus Skills
Masters Degree in Marketing or relevant field
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with basic audio and video production and post-production
Experience with email marketing tools (e.g. AWeber, MailChimp, SendGrid, Constant Contact)
