About the Role
We are looking for a Product Developer to build and implement a Vertical-Based Marketing Suite that our team and Partners will use to execute various marketing strategies. You will work with the Web Director throughout the product development life cycle, creating integrations, automations, processes, and content.
Your goal will be to build efficient processes using existing Wix systems, create scalable templates, and integrate outside services that allow for one-button operations that make it easy to deploy marketing strategies for various Partners.
Work under the supervision of the Web Director to coordinate and execute product development activities.
Complete the product development projects within allotted budgets and timelines.
Ensure that final products meet customer requirements.
Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and productivity.
Follow best practices to ensure smooth and continuous product development operations.
Coordinate with Director in preparing product design documents and specifications.
Communicate new product ideas and concepts to Director.
Design and build new product templates and integrations in accordance with Director's instruction.
Maintain documentation for new hires and Product Deployment Specialists.
Review and recommend changes to current product development processes.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Maintain expert knowledge on product development procedures.
Make product updates based on changing business demands.
Analyze and troubleshoot product issues in a timely fashion.
Work with Director in developing product development plan, budget, and schedules.
BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
Past experience in product development for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (web development, web integrations, APIs, etc.)
Content marketing knowledge (social, blog, email)
A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent web builder, but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
Expert with prototyping software (Adobe XD or similar)
Experience with SaaS and inherent interconnectivity.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with basic audio and video production and post-production
Experience with email marketing tools (e.g. AWeber, MailChimp, SendGrid)
Ability to analyze advertising and marketing data to improve strategies
Intermediate marketing knowledge, including:
Inbound & Content Marketing strategies
Marketing Campaign creation and management
Development of content marketing calendars for social media, blog posts, videos, etc.
Familiarity with Apple products, both macOS and iOS devices.
